Jen (JR) Rettig Joins As Guild's Chief People Officer

Today, we're excited to announce that Jen (JR) Rettig has joined Guild as Chief People Officer.

As Guild enters its next phase of growth, helping companies and their employees navigate the agentic era, we've reached a stage where scaling thoughtfully requires dedicated executive leadership focused on people, culture, and talent. JR is exactly the right person to lead that work.

As People Officer, JR will oversee Guild's people strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, culture, and organizational design, building the foundation that enables us to grow without losing what makes Guild, Guild.

JR brings more than 20 years of experience scaling talent functions at some of the most significant technology companies of the past two decades. She joined Pendo.io in 2021, driving growth and scalability across international markets. Before Pendo, she was VP of Recruiting at Looker, where she helped build the team that led to the company's $2.6 billion acquisition by Google Cloud in 2020. She later held a senior role at Google Cloud and, earlier in her career, was part of the original team that launched the Apple Store in 2001, one of the most celebrated retail experiences in history.

JR knows what it takes to build teams and cultures that hold up under pressure, through rapid growth, and through the kinds of transitions that define what a company becomes.
